Why is being competitive so important

I would have to say being competitive suck most of the time. But why is it so important. I can honestly say its not the prizes yeah it's cool to win stuff but it ain't worth an ulcer. Is it bragging rights. I think not. I mean it is mice to get the respect of your comrades but still is it worth it. Is it just the win or what is it. I truly think that what make me so super competitive is seeing something I put into motion succeed and fighting to see it do that. we all do things in the gaming world and what makes it fun. It the success or laugh u get or a since of accomplishment. Just like when u finish a big job. There is pride of that ad that is what makes you feel good. So is being competitive is just a term that everybody may see differently so sit back and see what it means to you.
