Why choose more guard for winnings?

Well contacted gw the other day to choose my winnings for the 1st place prize of the ard boys semi finals. Well I chose guard. I could built my knights up stronger or got more marines or even a xenos army but I think that this fits me . I love the army that's why I chose it to be my first. Also My strongest suit when playing the game. I will paint up a new scheme on these guys and it has finally gave me the motivation to finish the tanks that I started a year ago for my original paint scheme. So when finishing those I will sit back for a while after the finals tournament to paint almost all of my armies that I have left and enjoy some hobby time the late fall and winter Playing a few pick up games from time to time and see were it takes me. I will most likely stay in some form of competitive play but I would like to take a break on the stress and money it can toll on you to get out and actually play the game. So I am gonna make the trip to Philly to play in the finals tournament and see what it has to offer. I plan on bring the heat and would love To win the title but no high hopes going in. Gonna take it in stride and just try to see the experience of playing on a national level.
